The Wounded Warrior Boogie

 Well, the Third Annual Gold Coast Skydivers Wounded Warrior Boogie was a HUGE success. Karen, Leanne and multiple people behind the scenes did an outstanding

job of organizing events for this year’s Boogie. We had to contend with Mother Nature flexing her muscles to let us know she was still in charge, but we held out andjumped until every load was done.

So, there has been a whole raft of shite news and accidents around the skydiving community recently (more than we like to see!!)...so here is a GOOD News Tale (or one that ended up good news anyway!!)..

We just had an email from Ellie Southworth, who said this...

SO, we put out a facebook post last week, saying out next target was 2000 fans...we got a reply from Tyler saying

" I femured in last year and had to have my suit cut off me - I'm am now suitless - You send me a suit, I'll send you friends!"

WE asked was it a Deepseed suit that got cut off??? Tyler replied

"Nope, if it was Deepseed they would have needed a chainsaw to cut through that quality!"- Too true Tyler Too True.....

The Fight For Fun

Some of you will not understand the concept of having to Fight to Fun Jump...those of you lucky enough to jump in a country where there is still a harmonious balance between Tandem Skydiving, and sport skydiving, will think that this is just exaggeration, that surely this can't happen anywhere.

California Roadtrip, The Elsinore Chapter

So, the third leg of the Deepseed Road trip was a visit to Skydive Lake Elsinore. Geezer was there back in 2001, when smudge from the British Army made a bum print in the Concrete (still in the video below)...John and karl have done an absolutely amazing job with the place in the intervening decade, and it now boasts absolute Top Notch Facilities, with a great atmposphere.and the all new Grassed out picnic Area is just Pimp!!

A Chance Visit to Skydive Arizona

Deepseed Post PIA Roadtrip

That's right folks....Geezer has shaken off the shackles that have had him tied to his desk 24/7  and is heading off for some Fun in the Sun at the PIA Symposium in Reno. After that Party Fest is out of the way, he  is Getting in a Car, loading up with demo gear, Rig, Beer Tokens and heaps of other goodies, and charging off around California. 16 days, 13 dropzones (hopefully) and then back to New Zealand for Tea and Medals!!. ON the Tour Geezer hopes to be visiting the following dropzones in roughly this order. 

Rookie Weekend

A few weeks back, Geoff "The Source" Mundy, gave us a call to let us know about a Rookie Weekend, that was happening at Mark and Jodies Place, Skydive Waikato, in Matamata.
