A Good News Story

So, there has been a whole raft of shite news and accidents around the skydiving community recently (more than we like to see!!)...so here is a GOOD News Tale (or one that ended up good news anyway!!)..

We just had an email from Ellie Southworth, who said this...

I started my AFF back in may... Did my level 6 in June and depending on who you talk to, I either flared at the moon, 100ft or 40ft (in descending levels of exaggeration!) needless to say I smashed in pretty hard, walked on it for 3 days afterwards, eventually went to hospital.... I'd broken my tibia and heel... So I decided that enough was enough, and mother nature was telling me something!

After about 4 weeks of doing nothing a parcel arrived on my doorstep... I opened it to find a deepseed suit... My friends had decided that I couldn't quit and had pooled together to buy me something that would mean I would feel guilty IF I quit!

Anyway, I graduated a few weeks ago and 27 jumps later can pretty much land a parachute!

What a Bloody Great Story, on 2 counts....ONE...what friggin Awesome mates Ellie has, and what awesome taste they showed in their choice of new suit for her!!! and TWO...way to go for getting back on the horse and smashing that aversion to landing into left field....Good on ya mate!!!

The Video below is Ellie completeing jumps 25 to 27 and her first couple of 2-ways...all on her brand new Deepseed Suit!!
